2nd green WPGC?

Okay.... I've got a LAB DF3 and was personally customised for me (was as an ambassador) worth £1k, I've also got a custom length/lie T22 Newport 2 and a GSS Tour Rat matching the spec of my T22, the fact I've got (and gamed) a circle T is nothing compared to the exact spec the LAB built for me. I'd forget all about a CT and go get fitted for a LAB

It is great to see you out on the golf course in unfriedly weather, heavy air and fog. I am jealous. It feels like you are getting away with having too much fun while most people are either working or hiding out in a warm home.

Really goes to show that changes in iron design really is for marketing, I can hit any club in my bag equally as well or badly dependant on the hack I put on it. For elite golfers I understand custom fitting etc. but for weekend warriors I am sceptical.

I love my callaway rogue 7 Heavenwood. It is money for a 210 yard shot in the fairway...easy to hit, almost automatic.

I am debating 7 wood or 4 hybrid. Like to see a good comparison video.

7 woods are amazingly versatile. Had one in the bag for many years.

I have a Titleist 7 wood in the bag. I purchased it used last year. I use it on long par 3s and on long par 4s to reach the greens. Easy to hit flies high.

i am debating on whether to get the Black Ops 4 wood or the 3 wood maybe have the 4 wood turned down to 16 degrees from the 17 degrees what to do what to do i am unable to go for a fitting so i must order online i have a Cleveland 3+ Hywood at 17 degrees but i am thinking the PXG will or should go 15-25 yards further I am hoping great video as usual Chris what are your thoughts on my situation ? thx cheers from Canada

I have a Ping eye 2 BECU 1 iron. I use a P790 2 iron. They hit the fairway nice. Love this content. These clubs ROCK!!

I use and Carry a Mizuno Tzoid Hi Fli had it for 15 years plus never found anything better at 18* if it aint broke dont fix it

Not gone as far as 2 iron,but recently put ping zing 3 iron in the bag for tight tee shots and is working well on firm summer fairways ,also squirts the ball out low from under trees for tricky recoverys, so not totally one dimensional

I never had one, and was pretty bad with 2 or 3. An easy 5 wood had to be the approach. I recently got a Sub 70 17 degree utility for my son, who hits the long irons well. So far, he doesn't seem too interested in making it part of his repertoire, so so much for subliminal suggestions. I guess he'll have to hit a few more drivers into the trees to give it a harder look.

Closest thing I have to that club would be an old Mizuno MP Fli-Hi that I had because it matched up nicely with my similarly old MP-59 Irons. Iron-like hybrids were not hollow-headed back then.

I have a staff 1 iron. The head is tiny. I used to game it back in the 80’s. Got my local pro to try it and he absolutely ripped it 😂

I have had a couple of those in my playing days, used to hook that a bit and would use it when my fade was to big on the day and approaching that other horrible S word. Still have one in my basement

Please upgrade the shaft. That would turn that club into an absolute beast.

A good point is that the Titliest DTR will probably cost you $20 or less if you find it in a second hand shop put a new grip on it and we are looking at less than $40 spent rather than a used current driving iron that will cost $100 or more or a new iron which can easily be more than $200. It is worth looking into getting an old perimeter weighted club (1-4 iron) to use as a fairway finder. I have a Macgregor 3 iron that has more of a forgiving design as my fairway finder. Paid $15 for it.

I tried on once that’s why I’ve got a 19 degree hybrid instead 👍.

Had a fit set of Ping Eye2+ Copper 1-LW many years ago , should have never traded them for another set of irons way back when . It was so easy to hit . but have not played a 1 iron in over 30 years not when Hybrids came about !

I have two 1 irons in the loft. Both Mizuno, one a blade, the other a TP Zoid Pro. Also have both of the 2 irons as well. Stopped using them about 15 years ago when I stopped playing. Started again, but hybrids so much easier now I’m mid 50s!

All I know is sheriffs are the worse people to put guns in there area for use! Sheriffs(rent a cop)

I still have a 1979 Royal 2 iron with w True Temper shaft. I had it in my bag until a few years ago, but I used ut only for left-handed shots: a tiny niche.

I had the DTR irons back in the 80’s and loved them back in the day. Obviously the big difference is that they have strengthened the lofts.

I'd love to try a Takomo 2 iron but they never have them in stock- have a word please 😉 Nice ball striking btw .

Great video. Brings back a great memory of playing in North Alabama and spraying my driver around and not shooting very well and we decided to play an additional nine and I decided to put the driver up and hit only my Wilson Staff Fluid feel 1-iron( you know this was over 30 years ago), and I hit ever fairway and shot even par. I did this out of frustration with my driver but next week the driver was back. I do miss being able to adequately hit a 1-iron. Thanks for bringing up that memory.

I had an 18° two iron over twenty years ago that I hit pretty well. I might be a little to old and slow for it now, but I could probably find one those old clubs now for next to nothing and see how it goes.

I have a 1 iron from Stan Thompson fitted with a True Temper Dynamic X shaft. The clubhead is forged, but even then you could adjust weight with tungsten. I cannot use it, it is heavy and very stiff. I bought the club in 1968.

Hi i have just changed to the AI mini driver and its brilliant even my mates have seen a big difference in my driving and i never told them I'd bought an other driver i think the difference is because it as a 13 % loft anyway i love it,

What did he end up going with for wedges? I am looking to get these but having trouble with gapping

I had a one iron of one make or another, mostly bladed, in my bag from 16 till 2 years ago at 63! The last one was a Ping Eye 2! I could still hit it but it WAS getting a bit harder to launch compared to my hybrid! I miss it though, so considering a driving iron!

Had a two iron years ago but my speed is down and ability to hit one effectively .

I'm what you would call a Mizuno fan boy!!! I've been playing nothing but Mizuno clubs for almost 20yrs. I've played MX 500, 560, and currently still play the MX-700 driver from 10 plus years ago. I've never felt the need to change it, it just worked for me. I got a itch for something new last week. I decided to order an ST 230 MAX. I can't wait for it to show up!

I just bought the mini burner and let me tell u. I have never been so accurate with a club as i am with it. Love it

I have a 13.5° Titleist 975F. Same distance, straight and long. I just don’t see why these companies are marketing tech from 20 years ago? Honestly, I’d like all the drivers to go to a smaller head with greater density. I just shake my head at the marketing, and people that have to change clubs every year.
